  • I just want to thank you for making the 2011 Lame Duck a successful and safe event.  The swimmers were certainly in shape.  We didn't have to rescue anyone.  Solution for future electric problems -- set up some bicycles to a generator and have contestants cool down by generating power for a few minutes.  Looking for a GREEN tryathlon.

All the volunteers (and staff) were so generous, all courses were well marked, and there was plenty of water for hydration during the event. We especially enjoyed the boat ride over to the start (prior to the race). Plus, we really appreciate the awesome shirts and great food after the race.
